| A factory will be established in Daxing county, Beijing, to reclaim and reprocess waste aluminium, with a capacity of 15 thousand tons of aluminium alloy ingot. 30% of waste aluminium will be collected in China through existing channels and 70% will be imported. Pre-treatment facilities and an advanced double-chamber reverberatory furnace with environmental protection equipment will be procured and installed. Techniques for controlling the parameters of aluminium alloys will be introduced. Factory buildings, office buildings and warehouses will be constructed. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| China produces 150 - 200 thousand tons of waste aluminium every year. A large part of this is smelted into low-grade aluminium by small smelters, which use simple techniques with a low rate of reclamation. The product is of inferior quality and there is usually a problem of environmental pollution. The annual demand for aluminium alloy ingots in China is currently about 300-400 thousand tons. This project is an important step in recovering an important resource and in reducing energy consumption and environmental pollution. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
