CEMC ECONOMIC INFORMATION NETWORK

CEMC had established close relations with major information release centers in China. With the support of the State Statistical Bureau, CEMC has established its own China Macro-Economic Database. Furthermore, it has established an industrial database with the help of relevant departments of the State Council.

The China Macro-Economic Database, which is used by the Beijing branch of the People's Construction Bank of China, Chongqing Iron and Steel Company, Shoudu Iron and Steel Company, Qilu Petrochemical Company and the Yanzhou Mines Administration etc., is divided into annual data (national),monthly data (national),regional data and international data. The database includes performance values, growth rates and indexes.

The annual data includes 12 categories of 1,020 indexes involving the national economy, population and labor, finance, agriculture, industry, communications and telecommunication, fixed assets investment, equipment and materials. In addition, CEMC has established its own information network.

Macro economic information includes the monthly business cycle indexes of the macro economic, regional and industrial indexes as published in the Economic Daily by CEMC and its up-to-date macro economic database.

Economic policy information includes industrial and regional economic policies, rules and regulations, documents and analytical articles.

Market information includes the origin of products, output volume, sales volume, import and export volume, prices, supply and demand, information about major industries, company profiles and research articles.

Financial information includes prices, indexes and research reports of stocks, bonds and securities markets, and the quotations of futures and bonds markets as well as domestic and international financial news.

Special investigation reports range from those of CEMC's manufacturers' business cycles confidential consumer investigations and special experts investigations plus reports concerning industrial development conducted in line with the requirements of the users.

Overseas economic information includes the data provided by CEMC's cooperation partners in the United States, Japan and Britain.
