Invitation for Bids for Consultancy on the Site-visiting Activities to Renewable Energy Technologies Demonstration Sites for Ethiopia and Sri Lanka
China-Ethiopia/Sri Lanka Renewable Energy Technology Transfer South-South Cooperation Project takes a point of departure in the need for renewable energy technology dissemination and scale-up for Ethiopia and Sri Lanka climate resilient growth and supports access to energy and sustainable resources consumption through trial and demonstration of biogas and solar energy for productive uses. It presents a learning platform for China, Ethiopia and Sri Lanka to engage and cooperate at the international level in renewable energy technology and skills transfer.
The main objective of the assignments is to organize two site visits to renewable energy technology demonstration sites or suppliers to discover technology transfer potentials to Ethiopia and Sri Lanka in accordance with this Terms of Reference (TOR). It will involve two site visits to renewable energy demonstration sites or suppliers and overall virtual introductions and display of the technologies to stakeholders of Ethiopia and Sri Lanka with digital support. The activity will also involve a meeting at each site as the complementary event for the Ethiopian and Sri Lankan stakeholders to have a better understanding of and further discussion on the technologies from the selected sites.
