Invitation for Bids for Research Tasks on Institutional Financing Mechanism for the Up-scale of Renewable Energy Technology Transfer（RETT）from China to Ghana
China-Ghana South-South Cooperation on RETT project aims to facilitate exchange of expertise and technology between China and Ghana, and increase amount of energy used in Africa, to help achieve the UN’s target -- Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL).
It is expected that an institutional financing mechanism will be developed to create an enabling environment for the up-scaling of successful RETT demonstration projects through the research process. Specifically, the task shall prepare a series of reports on 1) cost and benefit for each RETT activities; 2) barriers and solutions for Renewable Energy Technologies (RETs) transfer from China to Ghana and other South-south Cooperation (SSC) Countries; 3) financing mechanism for the up-scaling of RETT in from China to Ghana; 4) 4 financial proposals to seek additional institutional financing. Furthermore, the assignment also requires a collaboration strategy plan for Chinese stakeholders to bring down RETT cost from China to other SSC countries.
